What's actually different
Feature parity is table stakes. The real shift is ownership.
Your price does not follow your volume
Buildertrend sets its final price from your annual construction volume. ConstructKit costs the same whether you build 5 projects a year or 50.
Job history stays yours
Estimates, change orders, field reports and subcontractor records live in your own database, with no vendor between you and your own job costing.
Change the workflow
If your estimates or change-order process differ from the standard, you change the code instead of changing the business.
How switching works
Most operators take 2-3 weeks end to end. We handle the data migration; you handle the customer-facing brand polish.
